Terms of Service
Effective September 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of PDF to Link. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.
Using the service
PDF to Link lets you upload a PDF, publish a reading page, share a link, manage access and presentation, and review available reader analytics. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use the service only in compliance with applicable law. Features and limits may change; the current interface and checkout describe what is available to you.
Your documents and permissions
You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and deliver that content only to operate the service and the sharing settings you choose. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and share each file, including any personal information in it. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or otherwise harmful material.
Published links and reader access
Anyone who obtains a public link may be able to view its document. Access controls, including a password where available, reduce access only according to the settings you configure. You are responsible for choosing appropriate settings and distributing links and passwords carefully. We may restrict or remove a document or account to address abuse, security issues, legal requests, or violations of these terms.
Analytics
Analytics are provided for operational insight and may include visits, page activity, reading time, and recorded exits. They are estimates, not a complete or guaranteed record of every reader action. Browser behavior, connectivity, privacy tools, and device conditions may affect measurement. You must use reader information lawfully and provide any notices required for your own use of shared documents.
Paid features and credits
Prices, recurring billing intervals, feature limits, and any credit conditions are shown before purchase or in your account. Payments may be processed by Stripe. If you choose a recurring plan, it renews according to the checkout terms until cancelled. You can manage an eligible subscription through the billing area. Refunds and cancellation rights are governed by the terms presented at purchase and applicable law; contact us about billing errors or statutory rights.
Availability and security
We work to maintain the service but cannot promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or error-free operation. Keep your own copy of important files. We may perform maintenance, change features, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service. We do not guarantee that passwords or links prevent access after a recipient shares them onward.
Ending use
You may stop using the service and remove documents through the controls provided in your account. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, abuse, or legal or security reasons. Some information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy, including records needed for billing, security, or legal compliance.
Responsibility and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated here, and our liability for losses arising from use of the service is limited as permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms and will post the updated version with a new effective date. If a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. Questions about these terms can be sent through the feedback form.
